Sprunki Rareshifted (Alexzilla’s Take) brings a darker twist to the familiar Sprunki music game formula. This fan-made Incredibox mod combines distorted sounds, unsettling visuals, and a disturbing alternate-universe story where friendship, survival, and sanity quickly fall apart. The result is a horror-focused rhythm experience filled with unusual character designs and chaotic musical combinations.
The Lore: A Broken Timeline
The story takes place in a fractured version of the Sprunki universe where an unknown infection has pushed the characters toward violence and madness. One of the most disturbing events involves Tunner, who loses control and turns against Raddy, while mutated creatures begin appearing throughout the world.
The timeline also introduces strange transformations and tragic fates for characters such as Oren, Pinki, Simon, and Gray. Instead of simply creating music, players are effectively exploring a world that has already fallen into chaos.
How to Play
The core gameplay remains simple. Players drag icons representing beats, effects, melodies, and vocals onto blank avatars to activate their individual sounds.
The difference is in the audio. Distorted bass, industrial percussion, eerie melodies, and corrupted vocals can be layered together to create an unsettling soundtrack.
Horror Mode
The horror mode is one of the mod’s biggest attractions. Certain character combinations or hidden triggers can change the environment dramatically, introducing darker visuals, distorted music, and frightening character transformations.
Character Guide
- Oren: A tragic victim whose disturbing fate is reflected through hollow, atmospheric sounds.
- Raddy: A character whose sudden elimination becomes an important part of the story.
- Clukr: A survivor dealing with the loss of his friends, contributing mournful melodies.
- Tunner: A dangerous and unstable character whose aggressive sounds add tension.
- Pinki: A heavily mutated character with distorted vocal effects.
- Simon: One of the strongest mutants, providing powerful, chaotic synths.
- Gray: A monstrous character with deep, threatening bass sounds.
- Fun Bot: A corrupted machine producing unstable electronic effects.
Tips for Better Mixes
Start with calmer survivor sounds before adding the heavier mutant characters. Use Simon, Pinki, and Gray carefully because their sounds can quickly dominate the mix. Experiment with different character combinations to uncover hidden animations and story details.
If you trigger the horror mode, keep your volume at a comfortable level because sudden audio changes and visual effects can be intense.
Conclusion
Sprunki Rareshifted (Alexzilla’s Take) combines dark storytelling, experimental music, and disturbing character transformations into a memorable Sprunki experience. Whether you enjoy creating unusual beats or exploring mysterious alternate-universe lore, this mod offers plenty to discover. Dive into the fractured timeline, experiment with the corrupted characters, and see what kind of unsettling soundtrack you can create.
